Post by: Frederick on November 26, 2017, 06:14:00 PM
i was wondering if anyone has any experience with this slot.
It works except no lights in machine. No power detected at light. What should I do next? Thanks

Do you mean the fluorescent light(s) are not working? If so that could be something like a bad starter, bad bulb or bad ballast. Need more information.

What model Universal machine is it? If you don't know name the model name or number post a photo of it showing the entire front of machine. Maybe someone here can identify it.

Can you follow the fluorescent lamp power wires back to where they are connected? Have you verified the starter and looked over the ballast? What about pushbutton lamps, they are out also? Check main power supply and fuses (if any).

Have you read thru the repair discussions over in the Universal area?

I am thinking that I may have the wrong fluorescent tube? Other panel lights look black . Where can I get replacements? It’s a double jackpot model. I will get some pictures.

I buy all my bulbs from 1000bulbs.com

You can find CW- cool white bulbs for under $2.00 plus shipping.. If you can find them in a store they will cost you 3/5 time that price.. You might as well buy all new buys and starters if your machine uses the starters. I always replace them both at the same time.

Do you have a 220v or 110v power supply and do you have the digital balast or the normal ballast in the machine.
