Title: NO SOUND
Post by: 61Wally on June 12, 2021, 12:32:48 AM
Good Day to YOU ALL. I have a IGT double wild cherry S2000 machine that has no sound. I went through the procedure to raise and low Volume, NO LUCK. I just got this machine and when I was playing it the machine is paying out on NON- WINNERS. If the game chip is wrong will that affect the Volume, or is this 2 separate issues? THANKS AGAIN for all your help.

It is likely a separate issue. Post pics of the machine and the board with the chips so we can see what you have. A shot of the reel strips from the top edge would also help.

After you type your post, click on attachments at the bottom and choose the pic(s) you wish to add. Images must be less than 1mb so you might have to do some editing before posting. You can add up to 5 images per post.

The reel strips look correct. Can't read the chip numbers. Image is too small to make out detail.

SS4324 is correct. If it's not paying right, check your reel strips to be sure they are installed correctly with the index marks matched up on the strip and the basket.

Is there a notch or something, so I can tell where the reel strip is supposed to begin when installing?

The index mark on the strips should be at the bottom just above the seam. You should be able to feel bumps on the outside edges of the basket indicating that is where the notch goes. Are you sure it's not paying right? The Wild Cherry symbol pays above and below the main payline and double on the payline as indicated on your glass. As far as the sound goes, have you checked the volume level to be sure it is not turned off? Check the wiring to the sound amp and speakers to be sure nothing is unplugged or broken. If everything is good there, you might have a bad sound chip on the board (U66). You can find a lot of info by viewing the S2000 topics that have already been posted.

FAQs is a good place to start.

Brand new at this so I will give as much info as I can. I just bought an IGT s2000 triple double red white and blue three reel single pay line. When first powered up showed Netplex link down. I researched here and found that varta battery needed replaced. I replaced and machine powered up worked as it should and had great sound. After a few days sound went out. I unplugged it for a day or two powered back up and sound was back. Another couple of days sound back out. Harnesses look good obviously speakers good. I bought amp board for the top cabinet installed and still no sound. No static, no humming. It has 1270 mpu with enhanced memory board with a dspl0002 chip and no SIM card. I just don’t know what sends the sound to the amp. Is it the dspl chip?

Drogers. It would be best if you started a new post with your issue. It will get you better results.
