Title: A great deal... but I swore I'd never...
Post by: shortrackskater on February 16, 2017, 10:59:36 AM
A slant top S plus, for $20. Working or not, it's well worth it for the parts. But I swore I'd NEVER have one of these door dropping,  toe-breaking, god awful heavy as hell boat anchors ever again. And, driving to Hemet is AWFUL! It's a desert community with a ZILLION new homes and NO freeway directly to it, from the west at least.
It's even got the little "spill cup" still inside, to the right of the CC.

Well I'm up and about and driving a little with the neck brace on. Going crazy so I'm trolling eBay and Craigslist in search of slot machines and three-slot pay phones.
Problem is I can't lift over a gallon of milk yet!  :hissyfit:
I'm also reading as much as I can now since there's a little less pain in doing that. Also learning more on I/O button panel boards for s2000's since it's apparent I know nothing about them...

Wow $20! You can't in good conscience pass that deal up IMO, heavy lifting be damned.

I know! If I felt REALLY good I'd consider it. My vision would be to pay the guy the $20, load the damn thing in my truck, drive a mile, remove the parts I need and jettison the case at the local desert dump!
