Title: The spoil coil

Just picked up an EM949 at a garage sale. Started on the top into and noticed a badly burned and cracked coil. No number however it's the middle one in the twin lightning top unit. It has 3 (legs?) on the relay coil. Photo attached.  I searched today and believe it may be a G34 2020?  Can anyone confirm this. On the board it's noted as anti-cheat.

Brian.. Try changing your cameras mega pixal to a lower number, or possible just crop the photo down in size..

The Bally EM manual should have the coil part number and description. Do you have the EM manual or looked in the NLG download library?

Looks like the reel dice has a similar setup  the anti cheat is a G34 2020. Thank you for the help.  Need to get that part and move to the next repair

Guessing it's a tilt/safety coil. You can disable it by wedging it open or wiring it closed.

Brian,  Did you ever find a replacement coil?
