Title: Need help with a 6000pro Monte Carlo
Post by: cowboygames on December 17, 2017, 01:56:21 PM
Hi all, I'm working on a Monte Carlo for a friend that had the progressive memory battery go dead. Instead of replacing the battery and sending the unit to someone who could program it he wanted to bypass the progressive and eliminate that equipment and the future problems that could come with it. So I got the settings for bypassing the progressive, did a full clear and put the settings in. The issue I'm having now is that the game isn't seeing or communicating with the top wheel. It will play fine until a bonus round is hit then will lock up on a 77 error. Does anyone have any information on what to look at here to solve this issue? Dip switch settings? Programming settings? Anything I can look at? And let's not assume that none of this may have been otherwise messed with. All plugs are in, game worked till the progressive battery died and the upper wheel spins at a slow rate continuously while the power is on only pausing once or twice for a second during startup sequence. As always, thanks in advance for any and all help,

Cowboy
