Hi, im having a problem with my 5000+ . I can't seem to change my settings. I have a key pad and it tells me where the settings are at , but I can' change them . Also the coins just go straight through the comparator down to the tray. The only way I can get credits is to stick a piece of cardboard wedged by the cilinoid. It was working before. Battery is good. All connections are good. The reels spin and it is set at pay out . I would like to set it at credit so I can push cash out. And when I pull the the upper board out off the back plane to do a clear it won' do it. I have the manual. Any help would be great. Thank you

Did you make RAM clear?
Some 5000+ have (small metal switch on PCB) inside door to enable/disable coin.

Yes, make sure the coin switch is in the proper position.
If that doesn't work you may have a defective coin comparator, they do go bad.
As far as the keypad goes, if you see no action, such as pressing CLEAR then 27 05 ENTER on the keypad, the keypad may be defective.
