A customer sent us the MPU board and I/O board for the game saying the game would not work.
I replaced the leaky battery and put our test chips in the MPU and the I/O and MPU worked fine.
Then put his chips into the board and the MPU was off in BS land, no display and the reset LED flashing.
This game only uses 4 chips (U12, U15, U18, and U20) and no piggyback board.
I took the chips and viewed their "inards" on the computer and one read all "FFs" like it had never been programmed. On another chip I could read it and see a checksum, read it again and the checksum would change - so that one was bad also.
There was no SMI listed on the chips and none seen inside the chips. The customer said there was no SMI numbers on his reel brackets either.
Would anyone have a working set of these chips and possibly the SMI for this game?
