Are they all important in home use? and can I unplug a few of them to cut down on noise? Answer DON"T!! here is why with a scientific study be me I have three Alpha machines. All the same equipment inside. I have the American Original that I have gutted and cleaned every square inch of including each fan and every fan blade. I took a kitchen thermometer at the top vent of each machine after they have all been running and playing for one hour. My game room is at 68 degrees and outside it is 45 degrees. No heat vent in room to affect test. I placed the temp probe at the top fan behind the candle. I have all fans plugged in and running.
