Title: Mei bill Validator not functional after running through auto netplex

I recently had to replace my button battery on the main board and after running through the ram reset, my mei validator is not working. I run through auto netplex and get bill validator not functioning. I also have my cash box optic switching between 0 and 1 even after jumping it. The validator has three solid lights on which from the manual states “Unprogrammed unit/Generic unit”. I had a spare Mel unit and I can hold the reset button down and it resets and the three led lights temporarily turn off. The insert bill light on the IGT machine lights up but the three mei led lights illuminate again and the validator won’t accept bills.

Any thoughts on why the validator worked before replacing the button battery and what might be causing it to not be found or functional during auto setup netplex.
