Title: IGT S2000 LED lights
Post by: DMC7126 on May 01, 2015, 04:19:17 PM
Greetings,

I had just replaced the 3 florescent in my machine and I just wanted to post a pic of the machine with the new lights. I'm very happy with them. The top and reel lights look great. The belly light is more concentrated on the Cleopatra, and near the very top and bottom is a little dark but I think they still look good. It's nice to open the door and not get a blast of heat from the 3 lights. You can kind of compare the lighting between the 2 pictures.

Did you try twisting the bulb a little. Looks like it is aimed down to much. It does move in the end caps.

I sometimes lay my LEDs on the bottom of the belly glass/frame and aim them up and a bit back to avoid the spotlight look shining directly through.

I played with the light in the belly. How I have it positioned looked the best. It looks better up close in person

a sign guy i know told me a trick they use in signs if you use thin strips of dark tape down the center of the bulb it helps get rid of the bright strip through the center of the glass. it probably wont make the top and bottom any brighter just makes a more even effect. it does take some playing with tho.
