BB2 Problems / Won't get to Diagnostic Button Part after Clear

I got a game off the classifieds and that's when this all started. It was flashed onto a WMS game, but a different title. The Planet Mohlah worked as expected. The DeanMartin Vegas did this same thing.

I couldn't get Vegas to work in the BB2, it went to setup once but then said there was an error on conflicting paytables. After that I put Molah on the BB2. When I tried to put Vegan Shindin on again today. It woudn't load after I set all the setup stuff.

NOW none of my games will load AFTER I clear the machine. I tried to load Airplane on the BB2 and it won't get to the part where it beeps loud and I can press the diagnostic button. It just says Call attendent. Diagnostic button does nothing. If I turn key it says no games setup and alll the normal stuff but when I press setup only Touch Screen and Sound Setup appear.

What is up?

Your main door switch is stuck, in the pushed in position.

I also made this a sticky since it's a common problem on a BB2

Found it, pushed it in and immediaty heard the loud beep. It was waiting for me the whole time!

Son of a gun! I was having an issue with my newly acquired bb2e/bb3 not sounding the alarm and diagnostic button not responding. I was able to access the diagnostic menu with the jackpot reset key but not the button. Sure enough the switch is stuck in the pushed in position. I can pull it out to resolve the issue. But it continues to stay pushed in when closed again. Any suggestions to loosen it up? Love this website.

I've used contact cleaner/lubricant for stuck switches. It usually doesn't take much to free them. I was using Puretronics but it's been difficult to find lately. There's other brands. Regular contact cleaner may work as well.
