Title: Aristocrat mk7 software help
Post by: fewpheonix on December 18, 2016, 02:29:41 PM
I am trying to load up titles Dragon Emperor and Mad Professor on my Aristocrat Veridian, but I always get to game screen and get eeprom errors, so I am setting up something wrong after running clear chip (I assume).
Dragon Emperor 1.01-608024
Mad Professor 1.03-61526

Any help with game type and options would be greatly appreciated!

To clear both of those titles you need to use a 7.01.xx clear cf.
Set up as "Base X/multi game"
Some games you have to set up as "multi denom" in the jurisdiction settings and some you dont.
Mad Professor is a wide screen game only.
Hope this helps.

I have a red board in my Veridian. I was under the impression that this allows me to play most widescreen titles - although image will be slightly squished. Is this true?

Red board is usually for widescreen machines.
Do you have a 19" or 22" main screen?

19 inch - so the machine is not widescreen, but I was told that having a red board would allow me to run widescreen titles. True or not?
I can setup and run Pharoah's Prize, Magical Princess, Diamond Island, There's the Gold, and Mystical Butterfly - but all are Basex game types - and only Pharoah's Prize require multidenom off. I have been unsuccessful at loading up Jackpot Manor - I suspect I can only run that on green board, but I don't know.
And as I posted, Mad Professor and Dragon Emperor get to game screen but have errors that demand clearing again. Any other ideas anyone?

Heres the first thing.Set as shown in the first picture.

The last picture will show what your jurisdiction settings should be...
Your version should be 7.01.xx
Money setup should be USA dollar MGMDx1 cent or non MGMD.Most programs use MGMD
Misc Options set Game Variation as 99."99" works on most games. You can change this later if you want to set for different odds.

Thanks - will try this. My options were set the same, except I have my jurisdiction set to Wyoming instead of to Indiana, and I don't recall a game variation setting.

Hope that helps..

Once you can get into setup after the game boots up you can view all the variations you are allowed to use in the bet line/variations.

Here are some photos of lockup menu and other menus. I think it's odd that in last photograph it says there are 0 play lines. Could this be part of problem?(https://newlifegames.com/nlg/webkit-fake-url://579d6d97-afd9-4c2a-88df-9b08008fd9fb/imagejpeg)(https://newlifegames.com/nlg/webkit-fake-url://e60b1c21-2dd7-49a0-9954-23b9dfb84c3f/imagejpeg)(https://newlifegames.com/nlg/webkit-fake-url://843eef21-85b5-4161-8d84-4f8b608cf564/imagejpeg)(https://newlifegames.com/nlg/webkit-fake-url://fe6285fb-f8c7-4f83-9ff0-48f3f44b5953/imagejpeg)
