Can't believe what I did. I have an E2000 progressive slot in my game room, using dollar tokens. So I'm playing it, and decided to get cheap - one coin instead of 3. Well, damn if I didn't hit the big jackpot PROGRESSIVE win, but didn't play 3 coins...and bombed!
Why, you ask, didn't I play 3 coins in my own game room with my own coins? Can't answer that one. I feel like a complete dumbass. I have several E series machines, and have never hit three 7s on any of them until now.
Why! Why? WHY??

I hate to hurt your feelings but in my opinion they are programmed to do that.

It sure seems like that's the case. But from what I understand about the RNG, it doesn't care how much $$ you put into the slot. The win is supposed to be random.
Still kills me that the ONE TIME I HIT on the 7s, I'm late to the game.

I've done that on my Top Dollar and put in one coin because I was too lazy to open the door and get out two more. "Luckily" it didn't hit the big one, like yours did.

At least you can be glad it wasn't around 30 years ago and you were in a real casino. Nice to see the game with that type of progressive still working. Very cool!
