So this may be a newbie question, or may have been asked before, but I have a Bally S5500 that I am diagnosing. Problem is all of my soldering gear and parts are upstairs, the game it's self is out in the garage. Is there a benchtop supply I can make from a standard computer CPU Power supply, to at least check my work before having to bring it down and plug it into the main power panel. To test to see if my fixes have worked.
Essentially, at the moment, I think I've got a broken trace somewhere. Near where I fixed the Pseudo coin button. So essentially, I want him looking for is for the red reset light to stay on.
