Title: Progressive at a local casino
Post by: Hotrod777 on June 01, 2014, 08:28:57 PM
Visited one of the semi-local casinos today and noticed at bank of progressives that I haven't played in years, but apparently has never hit the top award.  It's a row of 12 machines back to back, 5 Line 25cent with the double 3x4x5x theme.  (The theme with the clumps of 2x3x4x and 3x4x5x on the center reel.  Anyway, on a non-progressive game line 5 would pay 10,000 coins or $2,500 if I am not mistaking.  Right now the progressive is at almost $111,000.  That's some serious ching for $1.25 bet (in my opinion).
I didn't take note of the contribution ratio because 3 or 4 other machine were being played, but it's seems way "overdue" with 12 machine playing at it.  The casino opened around 2006 and I'm pretty sure this is an "original" progressive.
Btw, I played for 2 hours today on a $100 bill... And cashed out for $100.  Never above $170 and never below $60 on the meter.  Never came close the $100k combo tho  :hissyfit:
