Title: 1090-1 Schematic
Post by: scottserpa on May 13, 2019, 09:29:39 AM
Does anyone have a PDF of a 1090-1 schematic they could email me.  I'm real rusty on these electromechanicals.  This came in with tin foil around the fuses so I'm not holding my breath.  It will trigger the clear relay on the first coin but not advance for coin 2 or 3.  It also does not release the arm.

I had a problem with my 1090-10. Sounds very similar. Blew a fuse and turned out to be the coil in the upper section that advances the light for 1 coin to 2 coins to 3 coins. Put the multimeter on it and read zero, dead short. Located a coil on ebay, replaced it and all is good. Did have a little drag so I had to clean the wiper area and it works great. If that turns out to be your problem and I can help, email me at wjpelka@hotmail.com .

The unit that you need to get working is like the Bally EM Payout Unit 12 on www.slotmachinerepair.com . KLAR. I forget which coil does what. One is for advancing 1-2-3 and the other is reset to 1 coin light. Cycling the slug inside the coil will tell you what does what...
