Purchased a Black Cherry machine last night. Got it home and plugged it in to find error 23. So i removed the Comparitor and cleaned the optics,error still there. Swapped out the Comparitor from my working Double Diamond and the error 23 came back immediatly. checked the battery and it appears new and had 3.6V . then decided to swap MPU from working unit. The error 23 came back right away. I put the boards back in their correct places the double diamond came right back to life.
But the Black Cherry changed to a 65-3 error. the reset button now suddenly doesnt do anything turn machine off then on still 65-3 turn the reset key it changes to 65-2.
i then noticed that the board that was installed on the black cherry when i purchased it has had written "Wild Diamonds" on it.
Is it possible its got the wrong board in it? would that cause error 23 and then the other codes im having?
Where can I buy the correct board and im still wondering about the original error 23

After the 65-2 I think you open the door and press the self test switch. That wild diamonds could be wrong but the SS chip number on the board will help tell us what is on there.
You are probably getting an error 21 which is the coin in optic board below the coin comparitor and usually has very small white button on it. The optics in there need cleaned or replaced.
I don't remember if I have a classified ad for the optics but I sell them .. cheaper than ebay .. if you need to purchase them.

Got all the codes cleared except the 21
I think switching boards caused all those 65 codes
Back to square one yes I’ll need to try optics next how can I order from you
I checked the chip number it is correct
