Title: Balloon Bars IGT S+ Sp731 Help Newbie Here
Post by: mammer1963@gmail.com on January 29, 2022, 01:46:23 PM
Help needed, IGT S+ with a sp731 chip.
Thanks to help from this group so far I have been able to clear the credits by pulling the cmos to reset it.
The 61 code never came  up. I held the button heard the ding, continued to hold the button for over a minute and the 61 never appeared. I did close and latch the door. At this point both lights on top were flashing. I turned the key one time. Both lights go off. After a few seconds the top light flashes and there is a solid 0 in the winner paid at the left most position. I have never been able to get the 61 code.
After  I tried it once I could not get the ding again unless I pulled the cmos again. I have tried several times.
After the cmos reset. I turn it back on. I push and hold the button on the back side of the power switch. Best photo  I could get of the button. While I am holding it I hear the ding.  I continue to hold the button but nothing else happen, I have held it for up to 60 seconds. When I close the door and latch it both lights are flashing, I have a 0 in the left most position of the winner paid. It goes away then comes back and is on solid. I wait for a couple minutes nothing changes. Then I turn the key once, both top lights go off and nothing in the display. Then the bottom light stays off and only the top light is flashing with a solid 0 in the winner paid farthest left position. No other numbers on the rest of the display.
When I turn the key you can hear that something happens almost like a solenoid. The only change I notice is the wheel spin button lights up after the key turn but none of the buttons respond. The inside white button does nothing and all of the outside buttons do nothing.
What is next. Do I need some sort of start up chip?
