I'm trying to make a Blade Stepper with transmissive reels out of a WMS Blade (BB3), actually everything looks good, except for this error message "In-Game Meter not functioning" which I have no idea what it means, respectively what I have to configure or what is missing. I've cleared it multible times and also configured several times with different settings (progressive, no progressive, no Com Settings).

Is there a progressive meter you are missing?

Indeed I’ve one part left, but I’ve no idea where I can plug it in.

Progressives on WMS machines usually plug into the SPN bus as do the stepper reels. There is a connector on the backplane that looks like an ethernet port (it's not, it's the spn bus). If there's a cable plugged into that, follow it to what is probably the stepper reels controller. There should be an empty spn plug there. You can just use a standard ethernet cable to connect that to the meter. The blade steppers have a taller topbox than the video blades, I don't know if you also changed that or not. Usually the meter mounts inside the top box at the level where the progressive window on the topglass is located. Sometimes the SPN bus provides power to the meter, if it does not, it is going to be either 5 or 12v or 24v, usually through a 2 pin white molex connector. I don't have a blade stepper so I couldn't tell you what the voltage for the meter would be.

Yes it was exactly what was missing, after I wired it as you stated (including Molex 2pin 12V) it worked, thanks for the detailed explanation which I greatly appreciate.
