Title: Sigma video poker 'door power' code
Post by: Royce on July 18, 2015, 05:35:33 PM
I just bought a 1987? Nickle Jokers Wild Double Down Video Poker machine Model B09-013, Screen is on, nothing seems to work. The word "Door Power" is at the bottom right hand corner. Any help would be appreciated!

Maybe it is two words and not a sentence.

Your door could be open and your power supply is not putting out the correct voltages.

No, it is probably the +5V / +12V power supply.

A lot of Sigma boards used a super cap instead of a battery.

If the battery or super cap were bad there would probably be no display.

You would need to call Larry at 702-363-9998 and tell him I told you to send the unit in for repair.

If it can't be repaired I could then determine a suitable replacement.

I'm not trying to drum up business for our shop but there were so many different supplies in Sigma machines I need to match up the input and output pins and how they are connected.

We have some good supplies out of Sigmas, 3 of them, and they all have different output connections.
