I have a MEI SC66 series PPM that I think needs updating so I can use it on MEI heads for the Bally Alpha. Is there someone out there who can update this for me or tell me what software I need to do this. I have been on MEI's site but it is pretty confusing as what download(s) are needed to do this. Please PM me on this or just post it here for others to see. Thanks

I've been on this road for a while. You will need the correct firmware for the Bally heads, and STS software to upload it to the PPM. Unfortunately, the software cannot be downloaded from MEI's site. You need to buy a license for the STS software. It is key based and to the best of my knowledge the license expires yearly. It is not as easy as flashing UBA heads, which is the reason I've switched to UBA heads for everything now. It is my understanding that once you get the right software on your PPM, you can flash unlimited heads with it. So maybe you can find somebody who can flash your PPM with the correct firmware for bally alpha. I am also told that the version of the banana you have will only hold one set of firmware. The new ones with the lcd windows will hold more than 1 version, so on the new one, you could have the firmware for IGT and Bally at the same time.
