I have a 17in Kortek TFT touchscreen monitor which is acting strangely. The screen will not calibrate correctly and when you touch the screen in one place it will show the mouse pointer in a different place. Also parts of the touchscreen seem to not respond at all. It is not a calibration problem as i removed it from the machine, connected it to my laptop and it is exactly the same.
Anyone any ideas how i could start to fix it.
In the UK i is hard to find a replacement for it for this particular machine.
Thanks

The capacitative film on your touchscreen glass is probably bad. If it was the controller, you would get a com error. Unfortunately, you can't really fix the glass, need to buy a new touchscreen glass.

Thanks, i thought that would be the case.
Now i jut need to see if i can find a replacement at the right price.
