IGT CRT chassis rebuild w/flyback

I have an IGT poker machine model B1070D, has a CERONIX model 1493 monitor chassis w/Orion LR 48575 tube.  Monitor is out of focus and/or blank depending how it feels, game plays blind,  can hear bacon sizzle noise when game warms up.  I did not continue fooling w/game once sizzle started.  I removed CRT as a unit to get info and here I am.  Can we fix this, better yet can someone out there fix this?  Or can we convert to LCD?  What are my options?  Thank You

I have a video poker with monitor problems too, currently have a guy trying to repair it. I do know from my research Ceronix offers a drop in LCD replacement for about 500.00!

Well, let me know how your repair goes, I may use him if it works out.  $500 for an LCD....that's more than I paid for the game!

I am in the same boat, 500.00 is more then I paid too! I just had the repair guy here today, and no luck! Said he has verified the monitor is working, but still no picture! Thinks might be the power supply The guy here in my town repairs pinball and video games, gaming machines are not his specialty. I will let you know what I find out.

K-Lar still services Ceronix 1492. You can probably just send them the board.
1493 are a different animal, you would need to check in with them and see if the symptoms are beyond reasonable  repair.
In either case, flybacks have become difficult to obtain so be prepared to get involved in sourcing a flyback if it turns out to be that.

check out this topic, reply 31,   have NEW 1493 chassis available,  these are 220 units , can be made to 120 by removing two diodes.
would have to get procedure from tech at Ceronix.
