Title: bally game maker - says games disabled
Post by: puckhead on September 16, 2020, 06:56:34 AM
replaced a battery and did a clear with p-10.  keeps coming up with games disabled.  denon is .25 and currency is dollar. jurisdiction is 1.  i dont see sas or other adjustments. also, i lost the touchscreen. it did calibrate and work the first time.  buttons work. the camera took a crappy pic, but there is a menu where you see a box for every game, they all say error.  also, when you power it up and you get the games disabled screen, it says at the bottom in small text power reset- door ( something) open . you also get a little illustration of a generic cabinet with a red area, like its showing door open. you can see it in one of the pics at the top left of the image. it had a mechanical push button for the door, and it works.. i didnt see optics and set it up for mechanical . what am i overlooking? thanks agaim, sorry for the crappy pics.

I'm a little confused. Does the touchscreen work at all?
I don't have a GM anymore to play with but there are a few threads here on that issue. (Some information is on the stuck in Demo mode thread)
I remember you have to enable each game after you reset.

With the door open turn the jackpot reset key to get into the configurations menu.
Use your buttons to scroll through the options if the touch screen doesn't work.

When you did a clear did you turn on DSW1 switches 6,7, and 8 then turn board power off after clear and set 6,7, and 8 off after removing clear chip?
