Title: Are there any local shops anymore?
Post by: yerigh on April 02, 2022, 07:52:50 PM
Hi guys.
I am new to this site and I currently have an IGT S-plus and have found great info on it.
I live in Las Vegas which I would think would have a treasure trove of parts and machines but cannot find any. It seems everything is out of Las Vegas.
Do you have any recommendations of local shops for parts or machines. It would also make a cool thread that would let people know where to shop in their respective states.

Alan and Barry at KLAR have a lot of parts.
https://www.slotmachinerepair.com (https://www.slotmachinerepair.com)

Address: 3425 W Lake Mead Blvd #110, North Las Vegas, NV 89032
(702) 363-9998

There's also many members here who can provide parts for you. Simply post what you need in the NLG classifieds, add the WTB icon in your request.
Jim, at Midwest slots is also a good source and his banner is on the home page.

I would certainly put in a plug to head out to BullHead City ~50 min from Vegas to the NLG headquarters. Bullhead and Laughlin is separated by the Colorado river. Slot sales to the consumer is legal in AZ.
Scotty always has lots of  bits and pieces.

The problem I have found with dealing with the used market in Vegas is that they are used to selling to the commercial casino customer and often in bulk and they don't often have time for a guy looking for a single reel strip and no appetite for some Joe coming in to cherry pick through a pile of glass looking for the most pristine piece and then asking to have it for $4 bucks.
