Title: Bad News for WMS BB2 owners?
Post by: Stayouttadabunker on June 29, 2022, 07:46:25 AM
If your WMS BB2 button decks are getting dark, you might want to sell them asap.
I just received a contact email from Joanne Tien at RiTDisplay in Taiwan this morning.
They are no longer manufacturing the 1.1" 96x64mm small OLED displays for the BB2 button decks.
She didn't say anything about the large OLEDs for the Repeat Bet buttons though.
The last time they made some was before the pandemic.
I had wanted to purchase 500 more pcs. from US Micro Products as they were all out of them.
The only ones they have now, are the USMP-19605's - which are double the price.
US Micro Products gets them from RiTDisplay.

I am trying to locate an LCD display instead that may work for these buttons.

Thanks for the model number and link...   For 250 pcs of the "more expensive model" they are $10.95 each.    The seems pretty reasonable to me.

The link you provided also has the datasheet, pinout of the ribbon cable.    Cool.    It uses the SSD1325 chip in either Parallel or SPI mode (selected by Pins 19 and 20).  The detail page on the web shows I2C is also available but I dont see that in the datasheet.    To make things easy, look for a 96x64 OLED display that uses that same chip..  The pinout I suspect will be the hard part to line up, but not impossible.    Honestly, if you can get them for $10.95, problem solved.   Maybe I am missing something...

A quick aliexpress search for SSD1325  shows more than $10.95..    It would be cool to find different colors, like Blue or Red or Green, ........
Let me know if you order some, I'd be down for a few.

Maybe hit up these guys -

http://www.hesoled.com/1-1inch-oled-96x64-yellow-color-ssd1325.html (http://www.hesoled.com/1-1inch-oled-96x64-yellow-color-ssd1325.html)

Send them the 30 pin pinout too, tell them to match it.

Or Alibaba, search for SSD1325, send a message to one of the vendors with the details.
