Title: S Motherboard
Post by: Timmay on August 04, 2022, 06:03:30 AM
Good day. Well I had a buzzing problem. I could hear some buzzing from this machine then it blows up, and this is the results.  So I'm looking looking for a motherboard and transformer any help is greatly appreciated. I'm located in Detroit metro area. What would cause this to happen?  Thank you Tim

Wow that MPU board is fried. That transformer could be the culprit. The motherboard (backplane) is the board it plugs into.  What does the motherboard look like?

I've never seen a transformer blow up like that.
The 6-pin MPU transformer connector Molex may have been offset wrongly, causing a buzzing and fatal short circuit or a coin caused a short?

Oh I see now you have a S MPU board not an S+.  I don't think an S even has a backplane.  Not sure who has any S boards for sale.
