I have just acquired multiple 044 games. On my 3902 machine I have an extra U2 backplane (8 pin) chip for each game that I want to play in the same chassis. By doing this, I don’t have to deal with credits or other parameters on the board when I swap them out.
Now, I have acquired multiple 044 boards/trays. If I want to utilize one chassis, Is the process the same? I see U14 on the backplane board appears to be the same as U2 on 3902 board. My ? being, if I want to swap out games on my 044 machine, Would the process be the same? Meaning. If I were to change out a game on my 044 machine to another game, Can I take U14 chip out and install another one into it, just like I do with 3992 board. Thank You for All. your help a gauge

That will work but it uses a 24C256 eeprom instead of a 24C16.
