A good friend of mine has an IGT S Plus slot machine that won't boot. I pulled-out the MPU to replace the battery and noticed corrosion on the board as well as the smaller board in the base that the MPU plugs-into. It looks like the old battery and two of the capacitors had leaked. I'm not sure whether the best route is to repair the damage or if the board(s) need to be replaced. Either way, it's beyond my skillset.
Can someone recommend a repair person or shop near the NorthWest Chicago suburbs? My friend lives in Arlington Heights IL.
