Have an Alpha Wheel. It was working for about 3 month. Turned on the other day & error.
Topbox device error
topbox not configured.
Cleared & did setup. Same thing. Pulled apart so can check all wires top & bottom. Cleaned all connections. All look Ok.
Any idea what to look for next. There is box in topbox I thought might be bad but don't have one to swap.

My topbox is different than yours. Does it have any kind of battery? Mine is also a USB device, how does your connect to the mpu?

USB. No battery in box in topbox..

Got it working. The wheel would start & stop also. On boot up it would not keep running & would get error. While it was booting I wiggled around board & wheel kept spinning. Finished booting with no errors. Want to wiggle around board again. If it stops working
board @ wheel must be bad.

Anything in the opto pick ups or pulse ring can cause that-fuzz etc. . Does not sound like your problem but it is possible. A flag on the ring etc. You tweeked it and now it is working.

Fuzz is what I was thinking might have been problem. All works now except I must have got something lose. When I boot up all deck buttons light up. After boot up buttons for 1-2-3-4-5 lines do not work. can only play center line & 1 coin. In setup it's set for 5 line-5 coin. Have to get back to making my dinner for today & work on machine later.
