Title: 831 overpay

I have Bally EM 5-line three wheel that overpays 1 coin on any combination.  Obviously, not a major issue since everything else seems to work fine but where should I check first?

check the rubber bumper that absorbs the reset wheel flyback.  it get gummy and sticks sometime, if this is the problem, replace with a pink eraser,  or re adjust the setting.

Another solution could be to adjust the hopper pivot arm (1). Loosen the 2 screws (2), adjust the height so the switch (3) just closes when the coin passes then tighten the screws. This usually needs to be done sometime about every third year on all slots.
