Start up issues with IGT S2000 Double Diamond Delux

New to owning a slot machine. Having a problem where when I flip the power switch that it seems to get stuck in a loop where it is trying to power on, the lights flash for a split second, it goes dark, and then repeats a few seconds later. Anyone have any insight as to what the problem might be? Eventually it will fully boot up but I'm concerned this behavior might be stressing some of the electronics.

I would start by checking for loose connections.  Also I would remove the board and put it back in to make sure it's in correctly, they can become loose in transit.

Also check really close all your chips for bent legs.
