Title: Bally gamemaker, GAMES DISABLED
Post by: 61Wally on May 15, 2021, 07:25:55 AM
I replaced my gamemaker board with a different one. The other board had No sound. I had to change the battery in it first, when I turned it on, screen displays “ GAMES DISABLED “. I did a clear and all the initial set up questions, but I’m missing some steps I believe. The screen still displays “ GAMES DISABLED “. After I do the clear do I need to leave the P10 chip in and do some more programming? Any help would be Appreciated.

Do the games show up on the screen? Are they "shaded" - less bright when they were working? Post a photo of your screen.

For some reason, I’ve had ZERO luck in sending pictures. The screen display has No game icons, not even shaded. It only shows Game disabled, No games are ready for play, Below that it shows Credits 0. Hope this helps.

Have you tried opening the door, then turn the key to get to the configurations menu. It should show the games (It's been a LONG time for me, sorry). From that point it should allow you to enable each game provided they show up on the screen of course.
Are there any other errors showing?

For photos, just make sure they are under 1mb. Click the green Attachments bar and add them.

Do you have let me in the right direction. I’ll open the door turn the key and there is accounting, diagnostics, etc. and there is game turn on/off. The game was in the OFF mode. Thank you again so much for all your help you guys are fantastic.

Oh Yes indeed, I’ve been a contributing member for awhile. I try to even throw an extra bone when I get people like yourself, that take the time to respond to me. I’m fairly new at this hobby and I love it.

That message at the bottom of my reply is my default "line" that goes into every reply.

Regardless, thanks for being a contributing member!

Believe it or not, I had THREE Game Makers at one time. I started with a small one, then a LARGE one, and finally a medium-sized version. It happened over about a years time. They all just popped up at quite reasonable prices. I sold all but the medium size, but when I got my IGT Game King, I sold that one.
I miss some of those games now! So, I'm casually looking on Craigslist in case one pops up.  :propeller:
