Title: Jennings 400 needs repair

Can anyone suggest a good repair shop for my Jennings 400 slot?  I'm in New Jersey.

Currently not accepting coins; error message on display (maybe due to NiCad battery failure), coin hopper needs rebuild (frequent jams when it was working (knife adjustment - ?) and overall TLC.

I moved your topic to "Other Reel Games" which includes Jennings.
You might consider taking a stab at repairing this yourself with help from the members here. There might be a slot tech in NJ area and hopefully they'd chime in.
OR you can start piece by piece for repairs. You could try contacting Alan an KLAR (his number is on the top banner - he also might reply here).
It may be more cost effective to ship your MPU board out for the repairs, and perhaps repair the hopper yourself with help from here.
Otherwise you're going to spend a small fortune for shipping on that hopper.

thanks for the quick reply.

you're right; the hopper weighs a ton.  hopefully someone will provide name and contact for a tech that can do an mpu diagnostic.

I tried basic cleaning of board edge.  that corrected an earlier issue I had with the hopper payout - got message to "call attendant".
