Title: E1000 bad Mpu?
Post by: tuna on December 16, 2017, 06:35:01 AM
New machine to me, looking in the manual no codes like this.  This is all I get out of the machine when turned on, reset or test buttons down nothing, won't coin up.  Is it a bad Mpu?  Its is a  E1091.

Or a dead battery or corroded pins on the RAM board.

I've got corroded pins and the machine is acting up. Is there even a cleaning procedure or just find a new mpu?

Or you could send it to me, I operate a board repair shop and repair most of the older boards.
We have extensive E series components for repairs.
I can clean and re-pin the board then verify it is working on my tester.
That way you will be in the possession of a known good board and can then use that as a solid starting point in troubleshooting the game.
