Title: Door wiring connectors
Post by: frenchmarky on March 15, 2024, 06:39:47 PM
Is there a trick to pulling the two connectors apart that are near the door hinge?  (model 873)  They go together thru two mounting plates that you can't unbolt with the connectors plugged in, there's very little room to work in that corner, and I'm having trouble squeezing those tabs together and pulling them apart.  I've worked with tons of pinball connectors but these are tough!  I've narrowed down a lamp issue to an intermittent pin one of those connectors.

Hopefully someone can help you sooner but I’m out of town until at least Thursday. I have a 873 at home that I can check when I get home.

I finally figured out that the clips don't hold the connector together, they only hold one half of the connector in the mount.  I just had to pull hard enough on the top half of the connector to unplug it.
