Title: BB2 5 reel machine not booting after clear

Hello All

I have cleared my BB2 using the clear card .

It clears all the way and tells me its done and to put back in my OS card and boot it back up.

when booting back up it runs through all the mobo in the small screen and then it stops and wont go no farther than that.
the reels just shake and the screen is stuck in bios boot up.

any help would be great.

Pic of where it locks up at after clearing.
I have tried clearing with the door open and closed.
Come up to the same spot.

First, you don't have a bb2, that's a bb1.  What version of the clear card are you using.  You may have one that is too old for this game.

Ok. i was told it was a bb2

i bought this 1810 they told me it will clear BB1/BB2

1810 should work.  Try replacing the batteries inside the MPU.

i did replace the batterys. thats why im trying to clear it

Does the clear procedure work? (no errors?)  Make sure the batteries are inserted in the proper orientation.  The error you are stuck at is the machine trying to mount the NVRAM partition, but it can't because it is corrupt.  Which means somewhere between when the clear runs and you power off and reboot, the nvram is becoming corrupt, which is usually a battery issue.  Did this machine ever work?  You could also have bad NVRAM, in which case you need a working MPU.  Post photos of your mpu with the door open and a close up of the battery area.

Yes the clear worked with no errors.
I will check the batterys and take pics later today.

Yes it worked before all this..
Played it all day then turned it off. Woke up the next
Day and it didn't work.. I check the batterys and they where no good so I replaced them. Now I'm having all these issues of it not booting up.

I know this is an old thread, but we’re you able to get your machine operational? I have the same machine with similar boot issue.

If you have gone through all the clear procedure and still get the nvram error, try reseating the MPU (pull it up and back down and make sure it is all the way in, you can pull down on the lever to the lower right to make sure it is seated all the way down.
