Title: CEI Hopper empty problem
Post by: Raypol4 on May 02, 2019, 09:54:25 AM
I'm working on a hopper empty problem on CEI Draw poker with Omega board 904.  I have a manual for a 910??? with version 26.6.  One question I have is about the inside door switch.  I never get to the learn/dispute and other screens.  Nothing happens on the screen when I hit test.  I can get the ram test and button screen up and exit with buttons 1,2,3.  I never get anything else on the display with that test screen or at anytime when I hit test.   Am I missing something?  I'm pretty techy.  It has been intermittent and worked for several payouts of 5-15 coins last week when I last looked at it then went to hopper empty.  Any help is appreciated.

TOPIC SPLIT - For future, please start NEW subject instead of adding to another. It can get very confusing especially if the OP comes back on, thinking he has new posts for his original subject. Thank you.

Check your hoppers plug connections.. Unplug and plug the hopper back in a few time. The tin plated connectors tarnish, thats causes a bad connection..

My hopper has a cable that goes to the mother board.  I messed with this a lot and it seemed to work for a little while.  The big question is whether there is any 'menus' I can get to that control the hopper empty count.  The manual for version 26.6 shows various screens depending on what discard button you hit after hitting test.  There are two switches on the hopper---one for coin count out and the other seems to have been for hopper weight when the machine dumped extra coins into the drop box.  I didn't want to keep pursuing this path if there are menus for this.
