Title: help me ID this game

i know its a universal,  and want to find the right manual for it.  i beleive it the model previous to the ultra, but dont know its name. the glass is custom, but the swashbuckler glass is the original. there is a list of universal error codes on NLG, are they the same for all models? do you need key and clear chips for them? is there  FAQ?

Does it have an idplate or other factory id information stickers?

dont know . have to get over and see. the guy is old and cant move it to look.

Universal did not have a model number, it is the MPU board number that id's the machine and also the game chip number.
Looks like an 8116 board type of machine. (1985-1995)
No, there is no clear chip, set chip, etc. You clear the ram by pushing in the small black button on the board while powering up the machine. Button is located at bottom middle of board as it sits in the machine. (round hole in mpu case) May need to pull hopper out to get to it easier.
