Title: 044 boards with strange attitude
Post by: Badbaud on August 13, 2019, 07:38:07 PM
This is the comment from my service tech:
2 , 44 platform machines will be sitting in idle mode and they put themselves out of order and when reset they go

into boot menu and ask for "authorization code". Then I pulled out battery re-seated boot chip and it comes up fine?

Then a couple hours later it did it again , the other One I changed the power supply and I'm watching it.
Any Idea what is causing this and how to fix it?

Was this resolved?
I wonder why no one responded?

That was probably because I don't think anyone has seen that message before.  Some games required a license code of some type, but I'm not familiar with them, and have never had one that required it.  If you have the GK00XXXX software version post it and I'll see if I can find any information on it.

Alan do you want me to just delete this thread then?

No, keep it running, I need an excuse to find out where he stashed the board.

No, still drives a old truck with a lift gate.
Leaks more oil than the Exxon Valdez, I'm thinking about investing in sawdust futures.
