Title: s plus dbv-200 worked, not doesnt.

ive got a s plus that the dbv-200 worked . all of a sudden, it will cycle, but not light or accept bills.  test shows enabled,  9_1 .  the cash box switch is bypassed, but maybe poorly?  is there a test mode for that switch? ive looked, cant find one.  not sure what else to check.  another unit i know works does the same thing

Are you sure you are not within the credit limit?  Just something to check before you go into hardware issues.  You can test the stacker switch with one of the I/O tests.  I forget which one, but if you just go through a psr, you should be able to find it.

it has no credits, and i changed nothing.  i'll look thru the psr, they are like sanskrit to me, but im getting the hang of them a little. i didnt even know there is a stacker switch, where is it located?  are we taking about the cash box door switch?

One thing to check is the transport to be sure their a bill that might be stuck in there

Make sure the stacker box ("cash can") is properly seated. If it's not, the machine will go through the motions, but the validator will not enable.

You can loosen the thumb screws on the front, then lift the lever up and down to make it seat good. Next the wiring harness on the right side of BVD can get caught by the door latch and cause the pins to bend
