I have an IGT PE+ poker machine here. It was working good the other day, and now when I turn it on it's giving me a CMOS data error call attendant. I have checked the battery voltage and it is good. Curious how to fix this issue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

It has been awhile and I really don't remember but I would turn the attendant key once since it won't hurt anything .. hold the self test switch down for about 5 seconds .. close door?

i was able to get to the statistical meters page, but other than that no change. it gave me the verifying game memory then back to call attendant. would a clear chip help me?

PE Plus error messages and how to handle them as listed in the manual. If the data in cmos ram does not match the data stored in the eeprom then you get this error. To sync the two chips so they have the same data follow instructions below. Be sure you step thru every setup screen until you get to the end, then save the data.

A clear chip is almost never needed on a PE+.
To clear the error, open the door, press and hold the white Self Test button for at least five seconds, close the door, turn the jackpot reset key.
If you get a secondary error, repeat the process.
