Title: Seeburg Williams Slot Machine
Post by: gwslotting on August 02, 2020, 09:31:13 AM

I acquired two non working machines lately for "Operation  COVID-19 imprisonment”

Seeburg Willams. It powers up. Good News is no RAMs and EPROMs. All switches and relays. Bad news is very few discussions on NLG.  And manuals and schematics are incomplete. I am still looking for Book 1 and Book 3 of Seeburg's service manual

I compiled a table for Seeburg Williams slot posts below hoping to find more interested parties to share knowledge, trade  etc. Amazing to only find 3 NLG members that indicated that they owned them. I will share my progress too.

The other one, Aristocrat Espirt - It powers up. Big mistake. :banghead:   Forgot the RAMs and EPROMs are 40 years old. Needs a lot of miracles to get the binary codes if some of them needs to be replaced, burn new ones, and a steep learning curve to understand the codes. Thats assuming other parts mechanical parts can be fixed.

Also have a Seeburg, 1980, model H3BP-11. When received has light showing one coin dropped. Does not allow second or third coin to drop. Able to get it to play 1st coin again but cannot get it to complete the coin and accept another. Need someway to cancel out the first coin dropped.

Hi Seeburg. So glad to meet a responding Seeburg owner.

I am not familiar with your model number , though I think models ending with -11 or -12 can be "low boy" design. .  I cannot find info on my model number, only built in 1973, much later than yours and with older designs of relays, and set up units, multipliers etc. see my name plate phtoto

My unit does not even go as far as yours. It will power up, light up, accept my nickels, allow me to pull the handle, than reset allowing more coins. No light telling me how many plays, pay out etc.

Our problems should be similar: the set up units, multiplier units, (Odd units, Line Unit), switches and relays of the coin relay pull in an dlock in, initial coin relay  etc.

Do you have any experience fixing slot machines, or the manuals or schematics. I have no experience before, but find it very challenging.  So I hope to continue.

Do share some photos.

Still trying to figure it out. Do not know why it has 4 relays, one for hopper run and one for variation motor which will work when I push the test button, however spin relay and timer reset relay do nothing.

For member Seeburg's machine, please continue thread here:

This way we don't get confused trying to fix two machines in one thread.
Thank you
