I am getting no sound during game play on an s2000 super mag 7.
If I got to options and adjust the sound I get test sound so speakers work.
Is it the sound board that’s possibly bad or would I not get sound when adjusting volume if it was bad?
I know the main board is working with sound and good as it came out of the machine next to it that works fine.

Your post is confusing me, this is what I understand from what I read.
1. MPU works fine on another machine (with sounds during gameplay).
2. Same MPU on problem machine has no sounds during gameplay, but you can hear sounds when adjusting the volume.
Is this what is happening? Are you using a Multimedia Lite board on this MPU with the correct DSV sound simm for your game theme?

Yes you got it all correct above. No MM Lite Board.

Super Mag has no sound unless you install the MML and correct SIMM. I have them if needed.

Well that explains it. I have plenty of MML boards, I assume they are all the same. What is the SIMM card for it, so I can see if I have it, if I don't I know how to contact you. Thanks RB

DSV00076. DSV00114 will also work. It's for the Classic 7 clone of the same game. A generic DSV00042 gives you sound but it's not at all correct. It just buzzes when you hit the bonus.
