I was playing VP on an G22 slant top at the IP in Biloxi Mississippi this past weekend and really liked it. I was poking around here to find out more about them, but I am surprised to not find much.
I was hoping to find one for home use. What years was these produced and are these easy to keep going like the IGT s2000 slot machines?

I like the G22 slant top too. One of the quirks I have found is the quality of the main door latching action... ( historical drop team meanness-factor applies)

You would want to be sure that the lid closes cleanly and that that game gives a reliable "CLOSURE M" without cutting in and out (if you bounce the playtop surface). SAVP machines can be cranky. I would look for a machine where the wiring looms have been kept in meticulous condition and patron syrup is minimal or non-existent.
