Title: Touch Screen Com. Error

I have a bb1 that is showing a touchscreen com error. I swapped the cable going from the backplane to the monitor, I swapped the touchscreen control board and still have the  error. I did notice that the green light on the touchscreen control board is flashing 7 times then stop then 7 again and stop. Any suggestions as to where to go from here?

I would replace backplane to see if it fixes the issue, you might have a bad serial port on backplane.

Thanks Rick. I replaced the backplane and still have the same problem. I pulled a monitor from a working machine and no problem so I'll dig into the monitor.
