Post by: SlotMechanic on March 16, 2014, 11:42:05 AM
Hey Guys,
Well, I decided to change my multi-dem amounts to 1-5-25-100 but when I get into the keychip menus to do this, the max I can go up to is 25 dollars.....what gives? do I need a different vs chip? right now I have the VS011GX1 chip installed..

Thanks.

Tom

What SG chip set are you using?  The max denom is usually limited by that chip set.

I am using sg000598....

Also, what's the reason I have 2 chips? Which is put in the gm1 and gm2 spots on the board....is it all dependent on the theme game?

Thanks

Quote from the 598 PSR below:

Acceptable denominations are 1/20¢, 1/10¢, 1/5¢, 1/4¢, 1/3¢, 1/2¢, 0.01,
0.02, 0.03, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.25, 0.50, 1, 2, 2.50, 5, 10, 20, 25, 50, 100,
200, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,000, 2,500, and 5,000.

Your problem must have something to do with the game

I have triple red hot 7s 5 reel....45 max credit . Are you telling me it's in the game EPROM or just the settings ?

The SG chip set you are using supports all the denominations I listed so you must be doing something wrong in setting multi denom up.

did some more research on this....I went through all my menus and couldn't figure it out....but then I found a prs pdf for this chip...and found this;

When the accounting unit equals 0.01, the possible player-selectable denominations are 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.25, 0.50, 1, 2, 2.50, 5, 10, 20, or 25. When the accounting unit equals 1, the possible player-selectable denominations are 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 25, 50, 100, 200, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,000, and 2,500.

Who spends $1125 a spin much less $112,500? I can't even imagine...
Every win will be a hand pay or a printed ticket, you'd never get to just play the game

I was playing a Frog Prince I game  last night at my Moms house  . At $25.00 x 40 credits last night and could not even break even :duh:  . I have TITO for the machine but haven't installed yet so i was stuffing $100.00 bills in it to keep playing . Sure glad it was at a place i could EXTRACT the cash can from   . Its always fun to win but LOSING SUCKS    . I have $1   $5    $10    and $20  on my machines .  Also have 1 at $100 It has TITO so its easy to feed . P.B.

I tokenize my extreme credit machines so each token is good for one max net, max denom spin
