Hey everyone, just joined after picking up my first two machines today (attached).  The Continental was working as recently as today now won't power on.  I'll be checking out the Bally repair guides, etc., to see what I can find.  The 5c machine works great, it seems to be a Bally 809-ZZB according to the metal plate on the side.

Meanwhile, if someone could PM me the secret number required for registering over at CoinOpCollectorForum, that would be great.  Thanks! Got it :-)

Hello everybody! I'm a 30 year old data analyst from Chicago who was given a Bally S5500 from a friend who couldn't get it up and running.
I'm excited to learn more about it and hopefully get it working for when the friends are over!  :wave:

Just post in the Bally section when you're ready to work on it. Note any error codes an outside and inside photo of the machine.  :yes:

Just bought an IGT Gameking and LOVE it. It gives the Wife a hard time getting me out of the Man's cave  :24:

Just checking in so I don't get kicked off as a bot. 
Needed to see images/attachments as doing some tune ups on my 10 year old (to me) table top IGT GameKing 3802 board.
Have already replaced the CRT with LCD, buttons, battery, lights and bill detector for new 20's.
Thanks for the site, it has come in handy over the years.

Hello everyone, I'm Michael and I want to introduce myself before posting on the forums. 
I just bought an IGT Game King.  I've wanted a poker machine for over 20 years and now I have one.
I've quickly realized that I'm in over my head.  :rotfl:
Before posting technical questions on forum boards, I'd like to know what basic information about the system I should have and also what recommended reading/knowledge resources I should use for reference.

If you have your board number, Ie 3902, software revision, etc that helps.

If you have no idea what we are talking about thats ok -  the guys here are a friendly bunch and can help you find out these things.
Just post in the right section and describe the issues your having....

Hello everyone.  First post here.  I've had a few slots that I have collected over the last few years.    I have a couple Bally s5500, An old Universal, and an IGT s+.  Not a single one of them worked when I got them.  All work now except the S+.  It just needs all the coin in/out parts.  Recently I was fortunate enough to pick up an old Bally 742a em machine dirt cheap.  It also was not working. Within 48 hours I had it up and running. This site has been a great resource of information on all these machines.

It's actually the nickname of my old dirt track stock car.  Of course it was painted green. Kids at the track started calling it that.
