Me too jd!

Here's what I got.  I'm wanting to install a Mars 2831 in my Dyna 92.  Just not sure what pinouts to use on the edge connector and any dip switch settings?

Also, I read in the archives about not using the reset button while the game is turned on. Does this apply to my machine?

Thanks

Find the manual for the particular mars you have  ( http://www.meitechnical.com/documentation/view_documentation_by_pro/ (http://www.meitechnical.com/documentation/view_documentation_by_pro/) )
The bill acceptor install guide will give you the pinout for the B/A.
The 9 pin cable has a Credit Relay N.O.  and a Credit Relay COMM pin. those go to the coin in and ground on your 8-liner board.
The previously uploaded picture shows that the N.O. wire goes to coin a  pin 18 parts side (long connector). The COMM wire goes to ground.

Then you will have to program your boards and bill acceptor to give the correct number of credits per pulse from the bill acceptor.

oh the one i have it has 2 9 pin connectors the white one and then the black one on the side of the gray box if i dont use that one on the gray box it will not work on the pot of golds anyway.. this is where im getting stuck i could work out the white 9 pin and get it going maybe but without getting it to power on im just stuck..

• *Pin 1 NEUTRAL INHIBIT/ INHIBIT+
• Pin 2 NEUTRAL ENABLE/INHIBIT-
• Pin 3 HOT ENABLE/SERVICE+
• Pin 4 115 VAC HOT (POWER)/SERVICE-
• Pin 5 24 VAC / 12 VDC HOT (POWER)
• Pin 6 115 / 24 VAC NEUTRAL
• Pin 7 CREDIT RELAY (N.O)/CREDIT_PULSE
• Pin 8 CREDIT RELAY (COMMON)
• Pin 9 12 VDC NEUTRAL

from looking at mine i need pin 4/6 for power and 7/8 for credit... what about 1/2/3
