Open the door.  Turn the jackpot reset key a few times and follow the directions on the VFD.

did what you said and machine played flawlessly till I got down to 3 credits and wanted to print ticket. paper jam. now does paper load with print up or print down?? now everytime machine is reset it starts with 1 accounting. tap play three key and it says "call attendant, restart, door open M, paper out" never printed those 3 coins left to a ticket.

The part of the ticket that says "This side up" goes face down (that's an instruction for the player after the ticket is printed).  There's a black index bar on the back of the ticket.  It should be facing up and on the right hand side of the printer as you load the paper.
